• About Our Preschool

    Mooresville First United Methodist Church sponsors this Christian- oriented preschool operated on a non-profit basis as a community service. Download the intent to register form. Directions for submitting this is on the form. 





  • Curriculum

    Our program is a learn-by-play atmosphere and is theme based.
    Each week the children have a specific theme and the classroom projects reflect the themes. We introduce letters, letter sounds, numbers, colors and shapes — plus a whole lot more.
    It’s a fun place to learn!


  • Extended Care

    Our preschool is offering extended care for children who are enrolled in the preschool.
    The extended day program includes:


    8 a.m. Early Drop Off


    11:30-2:45 p.m.
    Extended Care


    11:30-4 p.m.
    Extended Care

Preschool Objectives

Our preschool objectives are: 

  1. to promote a child’s development in all areas of growth: socially, physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually
  2. to help a child feel satisfied with him/herself as an individual and as a member of a group
  3. to provide emotional and intellectual skills to children to help them succeed in the world around them.
